Passionate about empowering others

I created the YouTube channel Laughing Pikachu in 2015 where my love for Pokémon card collecting attracted 175,000+ subscribers.  In 2017, I also launched e-commerce platform Cavendish and my “100 Days Before College” vlog series.  In 2018, I also became an official brand ambassador of The Pokémon Company. In 2020, I officially announced my retirement from YouTube content production but still aspire to empower creators globally.

In 2020 I announced I would be retiring from YouTube content production and also announced my final project, the Laughing Pikachu Pack.

Through the Laughing Pikachu channel, I was given the opportunity to form official sponsorships or formal contracts with 30+ brands. In addition, I launched my own e-commerce platform, Cavendish, which achieved $10,000 in sales within the first 6 months of launch. Cavendish was also used to launch my monthly Pokémon parcel subscription service, the Laughing Pikachu Monthly Parcel. During my YouTube career, I was also invited to tour the YouTube HQ space in San Bruno and collaborated with some notable channels you might be familiar with.

In all Laughing Pikachu videos, I always ended with the line, "Don't ever be ashamed to be you, because you are your own type of beautiful".  This is because I wanted to inspire viewers to be themselves and embrace their quirks, passions, and true selves.  Empowering others has always been a fundamental part of the Laughing Pikachu brand.  Though Laughing Pikachu video production has officially stopped, I still challenge myself to constantly empower others. Specifically, I enjoy using my business and professional experiences to help new creators learn how to approach companies with sponsorship pitches and proposals and to work with creators to create unique revenue diversification strategies.

Key ways I empower creators today:

Approaching Sponsors

Creating proposals and pitches that actually work and knowing  how to contact sponsors

Revenue Diversification

Strategically finding unique ways to diversity revenue streams that fit the creator

Negotiation

Strategies

Knowing how much to ask for and when it is appropriate to ask for more from sponsors

Feel free to contact me to learn how to schedule a consultation if you think you might be a good fit for any of these services.
